Chimera Design joins Greenville Chamber of Commerce September 7, 2024 11:01

You might wonder why a business in Lowell for over 20 years would bother to join the Chamber of Commerce in Greenville, a town about 22 miles North of Lowell.

We did it for a couple of reasons, first and foremost because Greenville does not have a jeweler in town. Gary and Deb Huch retired a couple years ago and since they closed there has been no new jewelry store in Greenville. We felt it was only prudent to find ways to let Greenville residents know that there was a place some what nearby for them to get jewelry repairs, ring sizings, and watch batteries as well as a place to purchase fine jewelry.

The other reason we joined is because we have seen an increase in people driving here from Greenville and so we wanted to show some appreciation for that by supporting the local Chamber. FYI - we have been members of the Lowell Chamber of Commerce since we opened in 2002.

Having a strong, active Chamber (like we do in Lowell and it certainly looks like the Greenville Chamber is equally vital) is important to the success of any small town. In fact, the strength of the Lowell Chamber was one of the reasons we decided to open here when we did.

Should a new jewelry store open in Greenville, we will most likely step aside with our membership and let the new people reap the benefits, but for the time being we are the jewelry store for the Greenville area.
